Sunna is a 14 year old, five gaited mare that came to Litli Stadur as a three year old filly. She has a lovely temperament and loves hanging out with people. Sunna was started under saddle gradually over the years between having foals. For the last two years (since 2019) she has been living with Renska Younger at HestaViska near Melbourne, where she has been used as a riding horse and for riding and horsemanship lessons and clinics. Sunna loves going out on trailrides, but has also got a basic dressage education. She shows all gaits under saddle and can be forward - she is not a lazy horse :-). 

Sunna is happy to go out in a group and by herself. She is up to date with all her shoeing/trimming, worming and vaccinations. Stands for the farrier, goes in the horse float when needed.

The best fit for Sunna would be a confident enough rider that mainly wants to go on trail rides. She is NOT a horse for total beginners! Sunna is approximately 13.1 hands and will need a rider that is not too heavy (a maximum of 70 kg).

I would prefer for Sunna to be a riding horse, rather than a breeding horse. She has had several nice foals, but has had occasional issues with retained placenta and had a minor injury on her vulva (it has healed well, but there is some scar tissue) this year.
